Founded in 2005 by Derby; producer, arranger & composer. Derby Network Publishing is emerging as an independent music publisher. Derby recently collaborated with original lead singer of The Cake Barbara Morillo & violinist Karen Larson releasing self-titled debut album Triptic Soul. Headquartered in New York City we have successfully placed many songs in film and television with a growing list of credits around the globe. Derby is a singer, percussionist, composer, recording engineer/ sound designer and multi-instrumentalist. Derby was raised in Argentina and comes from a family of musicians. He has created and performed music since his teens, inspired by the sounds and rhythms of Flamenco, Tango, Afro-Cuban, Middle Eastern, Jazz and Brazilian music that he was exposed to at home. He's been gigging since early 90s as singer/percussionist with Bambú, a world dance band doing events for Frontier Herbs, Ragbrai and Fairfest; opening for Moby (Ravestock '95), Los Lobos, Rebirth New Orleans Brass Band, Everclear, 112, Liquid Soul, Eddie King, Wyclef and Jazz Mandolin Project.
