The Derwent Remediation Project is the world's largest holistic river remediation project. The estuary remediation contains a minimum of 8.5 million cubic metres of contaminated sediment and the catchment covers 15,486 square kilometres.Our aim is to use the Derwent Remediation Project as a showcase for the world to: - develop the technical, business & investment models for holistic river remediation; - mobilise institutional capital for large river remediation and; - develop a multi-trillion dollar global river remediation industry.
