He graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1967 and he worked as an architect for 10 years with Linscott, Haylett Architects and Peckham, Guyton Architects. Winner of an American Institute of Architect's Craftsmanship Award and having served as jury member for subsequent Craftsmanship Awards, David is well known for his ability to do residential design and tie-in additions to existing homes.David realized his dream of building what he designed when he began Design-Build Team, Inc. 34 years ago as a full service architecture and construction firm. DBT's motto is "One source of responsibility from start to finish". Since 1975 he has been designing and building custom homes, additions, and remodeling.
