Design Foto is a concept inspired from a 10-year-old business still running successfully in New York, USA. The main products is a customized picture made up of a highly appealing, eye-catching background (the collection includes hundreds for various tastes and occasions) and one or 2 pictures of the subject. The business is running on the famous 42nd Street and is operated via the photo station, a mobile system that is equipped to process and print the pictures on the spot. The machines are human-operated; the operator is trained also as a sales expert, deal-closer and quite often, hustler. In Romania Design Foto is focused on 3 main channels: online business, entertainment business (we go to parties and events where we take and process the pictures with a background created on purpose for that particular event), as well as direct business, in parks and holiday resorts.
