I am a certified Orton -Gillingham tutor, with 9 years of active experience, specialized in reading writing language remediation for students challenged with Dyslexia and language learning disabilities. I have successfully tutored students challenged with a wide variety of reading spelling and learning disabilities. I offer a proven track record of commended performance tutoring student from K-adult with passion and a commitment to each student's success.I have the ability to redirect students exhibiting challenging behavior by replacing disruptive, unproductive patterns with positive behaviors by consistently bringing creative approaches into each lesson plan. I myself am challenged with dyslexia as is my oldest son. It was through my personal experience of learning the Orton-Gillingham Approach and teaching my son to read that I developed a strong desire to help other students to learn 2 read.
