DeskPup, LLC is the inventor, designer and manufacturer of the patented DESKPUP standing desk.The following elements that were paramount in its design were: 1)a low cost so it can be distributed to an optimum number of employees in an organization (because being able to stand up at work, even some of the time, is so important that it should not be a privilege); 2) a most functional device that is extremely sturdy (holds more than 200 lbs) and still is light, fold-able and portable (coming with its own bag).As a bonus it is also an 100% green product as only made out of 100% recycled plastic. So the traditional design model was put on its head and ultimate adjustment was foregone as a single inch difference in height at the elbows is not significant (still, it can service 95% of the adult population). Scissor construction and the use of metal were rejected.
