Although Rượu Đế has been around for a long time, it has rarely been manufactured professionally, being mostly distilled at home or in small private factories. The purity and safety were never guaranteed, often resulting in an unhygienic product and even alcohol poisoning, eventually staining the reputation of Rượu Đế.As young people – who love Rượu Đế as well as other beautiful Vietnamese traditions – we have been obsessed with the idea that Rượu Đế is not only the traditional Vietnamese liquor, but also has a beautiful background story of a fearless and indomitable Vietnamese spirit. Rượu Đế deserves a better reputation rather than just a common product in our daily life. Our ambition is that one day Vietnamese can proudly present Rượu Đế to our international friends as a high-class traditional liquor.With the passion for distilling we have spent time researching the best rice and yeast, then triple-distilling it through European standard distillery equipment, resulting in Rượu Đế that maintains the traditional taste, yet is also safe, organic and hygienic.The name ĐẾ SPIRIT comes from the background story of how the spirit lives on, and the literal translation of Rượu Đế.For ĐẾ SPIRIT our ambition is to raise a traditional product to a new level, and sharing this amazing liquor with the world.
