Detroit City Youth Opportunities Magazine, (DCY~Opp Magazine®) is a publication with a twofold purpose listing countless youth-oriented events, activities, and opportunities, including academics, sports, cultural activities, performing arts, leadership development, volunteerism, and college readiness. Our youth readership along with parents and educators will learn what's being offered locally, regionally and nationally to engage Detroit's young people. DCY~Opp Magazine is a publication inspired by and for Detroit's youth. It is a magazine that celebrates them, solicits and values their opinion. It leads to our second purpose to recruit young talents to write, report, submit photos and interview the community and their peers on youth-relatable stories, which means the magazine is literally the voice of the young Detroit community. It is critically important to the health of our communities that Metro-Detroit youth be informed and connected. For that reason, the magazine will be FREE to Metro-Detroit Youth!
