Detroit PAL is a non-profit community based organization in Detroit. In partnership with the Detroit Police Department and community volunteers, Detroit PAL helps youth find their greatness through athletic, academic, and leadership development programs.Detroit PAL serves more than 13,000 participants with the help of over 1,700 trained and certified volunteer coaches and mentors. Detroit PAL works diligently to achieve four global outcomes in youth: kids of high character, kids who make good choices and lead healthy and active lifestyles, kids who are civically responsible and kids who have positive relationships with police officers.
