The German Society for Non-Destructive Testing (DGZfP) is a non-profit organisation and the body which coordinates all NDT activities in Germany.The society's approx. 700 corporate members include all big companies using NDT, as well as research institutions, universities and public authorities, but also 1000 individuals active in non-destructive testing.Main activities are providing information and communication on equipment, methods, test results, standards and other regulatory instruments, quality assurance, accreditation and certification, collaboration programmes, institutions and scientific advances.DGZfP provides conferences, conventions, seminars, training and qualification, working groups and committees, awards, literature service and journals.The aim of DGZfP is the advancement of Research, Development, Application and Distribution of non-destructive testing methods.DGZfP is German leader of training, examination and certification in NDT. Our clients come from all industrial sectors such as Railway, Automotive or Aerospace. DGZfP has training centres all over Germany which are regularly audited to ensure impartiality and professionalism. In-house training is delivered on request and with special care to specific training demands. In March 1994 the DGZfP's Personnel Certification Body (DPZ) was accredited by the German national accreditation body (DAkkS) and now issues certificates complying with ISO 9712. Since 2001 DPZ is a Recognized Third Party Organization for NDT Personnel according to the European Pressure Equipment Directive.The DGZfP encourages international communication between research and development institutes, on the one hand, and NDT users, equipment manufacturers and service providers, on the other, by organizing multinational conferences.
