DeviceSmart has developed software based control and monitoring technology that is platform independent. We can connect remotely to every protocol piece of equipment (circuits, generators, racks, servers, UPS, air handling units, lighting, production machinery, alarms etc) and our Middleware and Rules based Control Engine enables the control and monitoring of devices and buildings remotely and in real time. The DeviceSmart solution is a combination of BMS, Scada and DCIM systems under a single interface. It can work with or replace all of the above systems giving unique enterprise wide visibility and control in a more cost effective approach. The USP (unique selling point) of DeviceSmart is that it can communicate directly with the firmware (essentially the brain or any device - firmware is the combination of persistent memory and program code and data stored in it). The ability to do that has two key advantages: 1. We can monitor any piece of equipment – know what it is doing and how much energy it is using in real time. 2. We can control it from anywhere in the world by laptop, tablet or smartphone. We do this automatically by setting up rules based engine. It can also be done manually
