Devon Cricket, which became a limited company in 2009, is responsible for all recreational cricket in Devon. Since our inception in 1997 we have made huge progress under the Chairmanship of, initially, Roger Moylan-Jones and from November 2003 Jim Wood. We have had the benefit of three outstanding Development Officers in Matt Evans, Stuart Priscott and Matt Theedom. Following the publication of our second Development Plan the structure of Devon Cricket received a major overhaul with the objective of taking the county to even greater heights. It is now time for our third Development Plan and this is being led by our professional staff and a team of dedicated volunteers that work across the county. Our Key Partners are: - Clubs - Primary, Secondary and public schools - Further education colleges - Universities - Exeter, Plymouth & Marjon - District Councils of Exeter, East Devon, Mid Devon, North Devon, South Hams, Teignbridge, Torridge and West Devon. - Devon County Council and Unitary Authorities of Plymouth and Torbay. - LEA's of Devon, Plymouth and Torbay - Private businesses in Devon - Local Charities including The Devon Youth Cricket Foundation & The David Shepherd Cricket Foundation. - County Sports Partnership (Active Devon) - England & Wales Cricket Board - Cricket Foundation (Chance to Shine) - National Governing Bodies of other sports - Sport England - First Class Counties
