Dewey manufactures products for the photofinishing industry. We provide STK-100 Silver Test Kits for immediate, on-site silver measurements in fixers, bleach-fixers, wash waters, silver recovery apparatus, and process effluents. These colorimetric measurements take only a minute or so and rival results obtained by A.A. for accuracy and precision.We also provide ITK-80 Iron Test Kits that use the same equipment as the Silver Test Kits. These tests are used to optimize the iron content in regenerated bleach-fix solutions.One of the significant problems in the MRC treatment of effluents to remove silver is the generation of rust in the system. Dewey markets Anti Ox, a product that, when added to the photoprocessing waste stream prior to MRC treatment, absolutely NO RUST is generated.For those of you that have yet to avail themselves of Anti Ox, we also manufacture Boom Ox. This product, used as directed, will COMPLETELY unclog a rust-filled 4" drain in less than 30 minutes.Other products and services are available on request.
