Originally founded in 2010 as DFW Metro Academy. DFW Metro Academy (DBA: DFW Metro Hoops) is a Texas non-profit organization (501(c)(3) IRS status pending). The DFW Metro Academy Mission is: To grow the game of basketball in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area by conducting, hosting, and funding premiere events (amateur, intercollegiate, and professional) that develop players, coaches, and game staff; and that further connect DFW basketball fans to both DFW basketball and the international game of basketball.
