Founded by David Henry in June 2000, the early focus was on Marine Electrical Engineering. Since then the company has successfully diversified into Industrial Electrical Engineering, Plant Hire, Marine Safety Equipment and Industrial and Marine Supplies. Today the supply and servicing of life saving equipment also forms an important part of the business.Our customer commitment is to provide a professional and reliable service, including 24/7 on-call breakdown support 365 days a year, whatever the weather.The Technical Services team are experienced and multi-skilled- on a typical day they may be working shifts to diagnose and repair faults on an oil & gas support vessel, maintaining and replacing harbour infrastructure equipment, providing technical support to customers operating in the vital fishing sector, overhauling an engine for a private customer or delivering and installing a generator and transformer for our plant hire division.The company employs approx. 30 staff and operates from modern, well equipped premises conveniently located at the Marina Business Park in Lerwick.Our well stocked stores provides a one-stop shop for filters, oils, batteries, lighting, cable and electrical spares, as well as breakdown parts. We can also make replacement hydraulic and pneumatic hoses and stock a wide range of couplings to help get you up and running again fast.Our shop is a real Aladdins cave filled with fishing tackle, marine safety equipment, Raymarine navigational aids, Mercury outboard motors, Nilfisk pressure washers, cleaning chemicals, antifouling paint, marine, automotive and motorcycle batteries, camping and caravanning parts, trailers, socket sets and hand tools. It is open 6 days a week.
