Hospital/Clinic - N/A, N/A, US
I started out as a purely positive trainer and always felt there was something missing. I was left feeling hopeless and frustrated when my own dogs or client's dogs didn't fit into a "purely positive" training model. Believing "purely positive-treat training" was the only way, I had no idea how to deal with human aggression, dog on dog aggression, in-pack fighting, sibling rivalry, etc. and two of my dogs were failed by me and by a belief system and because I didn't have the knowledge of "balanced training." I didn't have the understanding it is okay to give a dog a correction and in balance with nature. Which is why I have made it my life's work to help others going through the same issues with their dogs, and who are at the end of their road and at a loss of what to do.
