NOW!No district, no community, no neighborhood has suffered more from the COVID-19 calamity, inequitable school funding, lack of medical facilities, substandard housing, crumbling subway stations, and neglect than District 16 in the South Bronx.We have the highest poverty rate, the highest dropout rate, the worst housing, the worst health care, the worst crime, and one of the highest unemployment rates in New York City. Our city is only as healthy as the most under-resourced among us. Priority in City and State funding for rent relief, aid for the jobless, and food for the hungry must be given to the people of the South Bronx. It will be my highest priority as your next City Councilperson.
