In Dialogue in the Dark, visitors are guided by visually impaired guides in complete darkness. They get a chance to experience daily environments of life like crossing the street, walking through a market or visiting a café in specially designed darkened rooms. As they travel through the Dialogue in the Dark exhibition, a reversal of role is created where the sighted become blind and the blind become sighted.The journey aims to raise awareness of diversity and equality, and create an inclusive environment for those we label as "disabled". The experience allows you to overcome false sympathy, prejudices and stereotypes. In Darkness, interest replaces ignorance, and lack of understanding changes into empathy.
