The Diamond Jubilee High School for Girls is a place where quality education meets nurturing and innovation. As an all-girls' school, the School recognizes the value of the overall development of girls for the benefit of the larger community. Our students learn not only from our educational programmes but also from our various extra-curricular activities. Moreover, the School building has been designated as a heritage structure. The school was started by Sir Sultan Mohamed Shah, Aga Khan III, in 1947 after India gained independence from the British. Since then we have continued to improve the educational resources, classroom equipment and infrastructure. We also invest in professional training and development of our teachers to ensure the use of world class learning methodologies and development of our teachers. In order to ensure our students get the required attention to attain their all-rounded growth, we appoint additional teachers for certain subjects. The school is recognised by the Maharashtra State Education Department and follows the curriculum of the state education board. We offer classes from nursery to high-school level in English medium and serve over 1000 students from various cultures and social backgrounds. We teach girls holistically so that they can make meaningful contributions to society and become strong leaders in our communities.
