Penn State's Dickinson Law is one of two independent and fully accredited law schools of The Pennsylvania State University. Operating at its historic location in Carlisle, PA, Dickinson Law is the one of the nation's first law schools and the oldest law school in Pennsylvania. In 2000, Penn State and The Dickinson School of Law merged, combining the resources of a world-class, public research institution together with challenging and innovative legal curriculum.
