Primary/secondary Education - Kathmandu, Central Region, Nepal
Dididai works with a group of disabled orphanage residents in Kathmandu, since 2010. When we first met them most of our pupils lived without necessary specialised support or even acceptable levels of stimulation and social engagement.Since Dididai's involvement, these children and young people attend lessons in our on-site special school, 6 days a week. Those in need of it also receive physiotherapy. Their quality of life and dignity have significantly increased. They are now much happier and healthier, relate to others, clearly enjoy their daily routine, access personalised education programs, participate in motivating activities and are part of their community.Dididai's partner in Nepal is the Rotary Club of Durbar Marg.
