For over 22 years Different Drum Sailing Adventures has offered hands-on, life changing, educational sailing trips for teachers and their students. During the school year November through June, join Capt. Jeff and crew aboard the yacht Boundless as you explore the Out Islands of the Bahamas or join us in the summer as we sail the rocky coast of Maine.Take a turn at the wheel, haul the anchor and raise the sails as you immerse yourself in a completely hands-on week that builds confidence, skills, and leadership all while having the time of your life! During the day, drop anchor and hike an uninhabited island, walk miles of empty beaches, snorkel in crystal clear tropical waters, swim over coral reefs, eat awesome, freshly prepared meals and see more stars at night from the deck of Boundless than you've ever seen!Our week long Bahamas trips occur during the school year and most schools take their trips with us during school breaks. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Winter breaks, Spring Break, special focus weeks or at the end of the school year, are all great times to sail the Bahamas!Our Maine trips take place during the summer, mostly in July and August. In addition to learning to sail, a typical Maine trip involves whale watching, kayaking with seals, hikes to lighthouses, lobster bakes and trail walks across thickly wooded islands. Maine is the absolute best place to be in the summer!
