The Differently Abled Cricket Association for Haryana(DACAH) is a non-government, voluntary organization that has been promoting cricket among the physically challenged sportsmen in Haryana for the past few years. Our cricket association is affiliated and associated with the All India Cricket Association for Physically Challenged(AICAPC). AICAPC was established and headed by Padmashree Ajit Wadekar who was the former Indian Test Cricket Captain, manager, coach, and national selector. It's a matter of pride that our physically challenged sportsmen have performed and won several laurels at both the national and international levels. As a part of our journey, DACAH has organized many National cricket tournaments which were participated by several states all over the country. This encouraged us to launch a new format of cricket on the lines of the nationally celebrated IPL. We initiated the process of organizing the first-ever "DIVYANG PREMIER LEAGUE"(DPL) in 2017. It was welcomed and appreciated all across India as it gave a boost to our specially-abled cricketers.5 teams participated, where approximately 100 physically challenged sportsmen hailing from different parts of India showcased their talents and performed at par. This unique tournament helped bring focus to the cricketing talents of such cricketers ,it also played a crucial role in encouraging the sportsmen spirit of the differently-abled people.Eminent personalities of cricket and from other walks of life at their various capacities were present on the occasion, Due to its huge success it was able to attract attention from the International arena, as a result, we were able to conduct a series of tournaments with overseas teams like Afghanistan and England. The format gave a platform for emerging cricketers which in turn led us to victory in the Physically Challenged World Series 2019.
