The DigiGen research project is developing significant knowledge about how children and young people - the digital generation - use and are affected by the technological transformations in their everyday lives.The research is uncovering both harmful and beneficial effects of technology in the everyday lives of children and young people. This includes a focus on educational institutions, the home, leisure time and children and young people's civic participation.The project is developing effective social, educational, health and online safety policies and practices in collaboration with national and international stakeholders.DigiGen is a consortium which consists of nine members across nine different European countries: Norway, Greece, United Kingdom, Austria, Spain, Germany, Romania, Estonia and Belgium. This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 870548.
