Digital Apparel is a start-up company that lies at the intersection of personal custom manufacturing, advanced retail, and crowd sourced design. Digital Apparel aims to manufacture custom apparel at the point of sale, while you wait, with custom denim jeans as the initial product. Customers will walk into our store in a high-end retail space, enter a booth and within a few seconds get a body scan. They then select a design pattern and customize the fit, fabric, colors, and finish with real time fit visualization around an avatar of their own exact body shape. Once a customer is happy with the design and fit, the article is manufactured in store within 30-60 minutes. Additional orders can be placed online with next day delivery and the same custom fit.
