Digital PEI has a simple goal: to use advanced computer technologies to help organizations in Prince Edward Island and beyond. To accomplish this goal we have a number of public and private initiatives. The largest public initiative to date is the OnLine PEI Project (http://www.OnLinePEI.com). We wanted to dramatically improve the visibility of PEI in general and our local businesses in particular, so we created more than 5000 free websites for businesses on PEI. Other initiatives include advanced mapping products, custom programming and web design, and of course all of the standard computer and business consulting services expected from a group of computer scientists and business professionals.
