Digital Solutions Consultants (DSC) was created to help small and medium sized business, medical facilities and educational institutions, and non-profits better compete with larger businesses when procuring goods and services, thereby reducing costs. At first DSC focused on IT equipment and services, telecommunications, such as phone systems installation, phone circuits and data/internet circuits. We then decided to branch out and will be adding vendors in many different areas that are needed for our members, this will include electric costs, medical equipment, office supplies, food, software, sanitation/medical waste destruction, etc. The types of vendors we will add will only be limited by the needs of our members. Our service comes in two flavors: 1) We have created a Group Purchasing Organization, which will allow us to group our members together and negotiate pricing for everyone as a larger group, similar to the better pricing that larger companies can afford to get from vendors. 2) We will also act as a consultant. We can fill in some of the gap that you have in your procurement needs, and help you find places that you can reduce your costs for you. Our president, David Lazar, has over 20 years of experience negotiating pricing for products and services, and has saved companies millions of dollars per year through better negotiating, purchasing, and a deeper understanding of the products and services – spanning many different industries – that would be required. For example, having been in the Healthcare industry for the past 4 years, Mr. Lazar has been focusing on reducing costs for nursing homes and other healthcare related facilities in technology and telecommunications services. Savings in many cases have been 20%-30% or more.
