Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the MFA has been working on the professional advancement of the Foreign Service officers for 20 years. It aims to increase the level of staff assistance to the MFA apparatus and the foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine. Since 2008 DAU has also started to conduct the advanced vocational trainings for the public authority employees, who are engaged into the external relations domain. Thus, more than 600 civil servants go through the qualification courses every year. public diplomacy, international negotiations, trends of global politics and economy, security studies, crisis management, diplomatic etiquette and protocol, preparation of analytical papers, role of social networks in diplomacy, geopolitics of energy resources, etc.
