In 2005, we started Dirty Nasty in a basement, screen printing random designs on low quality fabrics. "Dirty Nasty" was a catchy phrase that we used for just about whatever we wanted. Over the years, these words have come to represent something stronger. We strive to make positive change through message-based design while improving wardrobes across the world. We organized, created a larger product selection, and enhanced quality. Our goals include having too much fun, being personal with our customers, and running a successful and ethical business. My business partner, Brian O'Neill, and I, Matt Levene, are college students on the hustle in Boston. We happily run this business out of our homes. The team has made many friendships with passionate customers who delve into the experience and truly understand the brand. Dirty Nasty is building a positive and inspiring culture that people want to be a part of. Some customers like to buy one of each shirt on the line-up. Several times, the entrepreneurs have shot down offers to make quick money in chain stores. Big businesses have caught on to the brand's popularity, but the team does not want to tailor garments to the latest fads. Dirty Nasty enjoys creating designs that people identify with and it will continue to release memorable products.
