From setting schedules to setting boundaries, Disability Dame helps moms balance motherhood with the stress of chronic illness and disability. Disability Dame started out of a need to acknowledge the gaps in the disabled and chronically ill parenting market. There are currently more than 4.1 million parents with disabilities in the United States, and nearly half (approximately 45%) of all Americans suffer from at least one chronic disease. Yet, despite these numbers, there are limited online resources available to parents with disabilities and chronic illnesses.Disability Dame's mission is to spread awareness about the lack of accessible products available to moms with chronic illness and disability.Let's work together to create universally designed products and help make motherhood easier for moms with disabilities and chronic illnesses.
