The Disability Services Commission (DSC) is a State Government agency responsible for ensuring that West Australians with disability are supported and have access to appropriate services. Located in Kings Park, the DSC has a team of over 1,500 people working to provide individualised and relationship-based support to people with disability. The agency's goal is to meet people's individual needs and support them in achieving their goals, while also promoting greater access and inclusion in the broader community. The DSC partners with community organisations, businesses, and local, state, and Commonwealth governments to provide a range of services, including contemporary, diverse, and high-quality supports. The agency's approach is centered around providing genuine choice and control for people with disability, and they work closely with the disability sector to ensure that services are tailored to meet individual needs. The DSC's website, disability.wa.gov.au, provides more information on the services and supports available.
We are a government agency that helps people with disabilities in Western Australia. We want to make sure that everyone gets the support they need to achieve their goals. We do this by getting to know each person and their unique needs, and then connecting them with the best services and supports for them. We work closely with other organizations that help people with disabilities, as well as with businesses and governments, to make sure that everyone has access to the services they need. Our team of over 1,500 people is dedicated to providing high-quality, modern, and diverse supports and services to people with disabilities across Western Australia.
