Discover Academy Details
Discover Academy provides small group (3-5 Students), affordable online learning through engaging, enquiry based lessons and extension across a variety of curriculum areas. We have developed a unique teaching approach which incorporates aspects of the worlds best International curriculum and pedagogy, utilizing the expertise of creative, dynamic and experienced international educators.Our goal is the holistic development of each child, with emphasis placed on culture, interests and character development. We aim to work in congruence with each students academic aspirations and communicate effectively with parents to ensure they feel empowered in contributing to the overall development of their child.We use an integrated approach to curriculum providing cohesiveness, purposeful learning opportunities which engage and motivate our students. We see language development as something that is best taught as part of a program which challenges students to question, investigate and comprehend the world around them.Initially lessons will be provided for students in years 4-8 including Math, literacy, Science and Humanities, however we will soon aim to extend this to also incorporate tutor support and instruction through years 9-13. Discover Academy is currently a work in progress and we look forward to launching our online academy officially. Your support will be much appreciated.
