Discreet Math Group LLC was formed to tackle complex problems on behalf of clients using deep analysis coupled with extensive real-world experience. Our Founder has been a pioneer in the use of path analytics and "deep analytics" to solve otherwise intractable problems associated with complex processes. Rather than focus on one formula or one analytical discipline, our team brings to bear a wide range of innovative techniques to get at the core of problems. We often use custom simulations to verify results, and we always present our results in business terms, with actionable recommendations and realistic assessment of likely level of difficulty and financial/operational benefits to be obtained.Completely independent of all vendors, we do not resell any technology, nor are we an implementation shop. We do, however, generally act as trusted advisors (after earning the trust) for our clients on an ongoing basis, continually re-evaluating the data and moniroting changes to ensure planned results are obtained (and improved on).The final key element is discretion. We do not aim to be a large firm and therefore do not maintain public client lists. We aim to solve large problems with a small, world-class team, and to not talk about them. Each client benefits from all the tools, techniques, and know-how we develop in solving problems for our range of clients, but results are never discussed outside of each client relationship. We have solved problems in diverse areas including large scale telecommunications network design, large-scale contact center optimization, software-as-a-service strategy, search engines, and social network data analysis. Our principals have also operated far afield, dealing with nuclear plant operations and maintenance, missile and fire control system troubleshooting, missile countermeasure design (with skin the game), early IVR system and speech engine design, and simulation of advanced physics experiments.
