In 2011 Northeast Ohio musicians JCK and James Pequignot decided they didn't have enough non stop frustration in their lives. They would transcend their human forms and become something neither of them really understood: a record label. Diskette Records produces and distributes quality music in recycled 5.25" floppy disks. These mysterious relics of an era that time forgot are the perfect size for a compact disk, and maybe a sticker, or button, or something. Here are some interesting things you may not know about 5.25" floppy disks. 5.25" floppy disks were first introduced in 1976 and could store approximately 90 kilobytes of data. 5.25" floppy disks are recommended by Vietnamese witch doctors for their ability to repel evil spirits. If you secretly want someone to hug you, try giving them a 5.25" floppy disk. It might work!
