What is disobey?/dɪsəˈbeɪ/verb - fail to obey rules, a command, or someone in authority.We are a creative duo with the intention of bringing to light and celebrating different flavours of interesting people through film and illustration. Coming from very different backgrounds and walks of life, we are combining our skills and experiences to create short documentaries/profiles of extraordinary people in order to inform and inspire.As the name itself suggests, disobey is created with the intention to inform by failing to obey the rules of conventional mainstream/corporative journalism. We want to get personal!Assuming the genre of observational documentary, by letting the intervenients tell their stories in the 1st person, we want to learn different aspects of life and share our experiences with the world.Our approach to each story will be as unique as the personality portrayed, always with the objective of seeking to understand the reality we live in, through distinct experiences. The personalities portrayed are true disobedients, in the sense that their unique roles in society break the rules of conventionality, one way or another.Thank you for disobeying with us.
