Distinctly Creative is committed to a vision of promoting and advocating for black creatives and entrepreneurs, and being the go-to platform for those looking to broaden their skill sets, network with other like-minded individuals, and connect their brand/business with the overall community.Distinctly Creative was founded in the Winter of 2015, and is composed of events (social & professional), the DMV Black Creatives Directory, our Brentwood event space/gallery, the Black Creatives Matter apparel line, professional development contest, and The Playbook -- our online learning platform, and creative coworking + makerspace -- coming in November of 2018 to Suitland, MD. Distinctly Creative's primary focus is supporting and advocating for black creatives and black-owned creative brands/businesses because #blackcreativesmatter.
