Diversity Global is committed to building future leaders, providing opportunities for underserved, vulnerable populations, and serving communities in need both abroad and domestically through international programming in developing countries. We do this by organizing and administering various programs, including study abroad, volunteer opportunities, language academies, and mission trips. This international programming is open to all, but is specially targeted toward and available to underserved populations in the United States who often do not have the privilege of being able to travel outside of the country, much less as a part of a structured program with a focus on learning through service and cultural immersion. In addition, we make language acquisition central to our academic programs, which breaks a huge barrier and opens doors not only for communication with a whole new world, but also provides and enhances professional opportunities back home. These programs allow our students to grow personally, academically, professionally, and spiritually, while their work and the projects they participate in are geared towards serving the underserved communities in the developing world where they take place. In this way, Diversity Global builds bridges between people that are seemingly a world apart, but in reality share much in common. We make sure that our programs are carried out with a focus on cultural immersion and service, but we also make sure that participants are able to enjoy the vast natural riches of the regions where our programs take place. Through frequent immersions, we show our students sites of historical, social, and natural relevance that few have the opportunity to see. The sum total of what we do in our programs amounts to life-changing, perspective-altering experiences for all involved.
