Diversity Higher Comedy is an ethnically diverse, Los Angeles based improv and sketch comedy group. The seven members met in 2019 as recipients of the NBC Universal Second City Hollywood Bob Curry Diversity Fellowship. During a global pandemic, they'd meet weekly on Zoom to stay creatively connected. Bits turned into, jokes, jokes turned into ideas, ideas turned into a web series. The quarantine forced many improv schools to teach online with varying technical issues, but one thing held true. Humor. Improv is always a saving grace. Please join this collective of robust, inventive, and distinct individuals who are committed to elevating awareness and consciousness by satirizing racial inequality, social issues, and the idiosyncrasies of human behavior.
