Research in the Division of Behavioral Medicine aims to understand how psychological, psychosocial, and behavioral factors contribute to the onset, progression, and management of physical and mental disease, to identify the pathways linking psychological states to disease, and to develop treatment interventions targeting these mechanisms.Currently, we are conducting research studies on a variety of exercise-related topics as well as the relationship of pregnant women's stress, anxiety, and depression on fetal and infant development.
