The Division of Surgery at Baking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals comprises the departments of General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Upper GI Surgery, Breast Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Ear Nose and Throat Surgery, Ophthalmology, Urology, Maxillo Facial Surgery, Emergency Surgery, Gastroenterology, the Endoscopy Unit and the Operating Theatre Unit.We provide a comprehensive range of general and specialist surgical services and are one of the largest and most specialised general surgical units in the UK.We have a team of highly trained, dedicated and experienced consultants across two hospitals in North East London. The Division is committed to providing high levels of training and education to staff and is also active in developing multidisciplinary team working and research development. We use and continue to develop minimally invasive and hybrid surgical-endoscopic techniques for a number of procedures.A full range of diagnostic assessment and treatment services are provided in our Division including advanced endoscopic imaging and therapy, robotic surgery and emergency surgical services.
