Shemar Williams, aka, DJ Shem combines his extensive musical lexicon & creative flair to curate musical soundtracks for a multitude of events from amusing high school proms to high-energy weddings. Shem incorporates a mixture of smooth blends and intuitive mashups into his DJ sets to set the mood of any room.Shem spins at a wide range of events including weddings, high school proms, corporate, and more. Some of the brands that he has DJed for include Scaddabush Restaurants, Urban Planet, Aerosports Trampoline Parks, Dufferin Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB), and more. Utilizing his extensive musical lexicon of various genres including Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Latin, Afrobeat, Disco, House, and more, Shem creates a one-of-a-kind vibe for every event he is hired to DJ at.Born in Mississauga, raised in Brampton, Shem found his musical tastes from a very young age. His mother's collection of CDs from Columbia House (RIP) greatly influenced his musical taste and passion for music. Being self-taught, Shem worked many hours, day and night, to further perfect his craft. After years of dedication and graduating the University of Toronto, Shem is continuing to further build his brand as one of Canada's go-to DJs.
