DJBasix is a mobile school that was formed by DJ Papillon to help people of all ages to learn the skill of being a DJ. Classes can be one to one or workshops for up to ten people. Clients get to learn the basix of DJ from beat mixing to scratching with an understanding of the equipment required and the set up. Advanced levels get introduced to basic music production."Katherine (aka Papillon) ran a popular DJ skills class for a group of teens at Tivoli Training Centre. She was enthusiastic and engaging, and drew the students into the lessons. She adapted her teaching to cover the areas the students were most interested in and helped them apply the lessons to their musical interests.
