DMCI Power Corporation was established in 2006 to serve as the power generation arm of DMCI Holdings, Inc. to energize the small and remote islands in the country using all available technology that could provide reliable and sustainable supply of electricity at a competitive rate.DMCI Power continues to pursue its vision of becoming a major player in the Philippine power industry as it has established its presence in four (4) provinces: Masbate, Palawan, Mindoro and Sultan Kudarat categorized as missionary areas by the government.DMCI Power Corporation operates and maintains bunker-fired power plants and diesel generating sets in parts of Masbate, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan and Sultan Kudarat. DMCI Power provides off-grid power to missionary areas through long-term power supply agreements with local electric cooperatives. DMCI Power has a total installed rated capacity of 96.84 MW. Nearly half of the total capacity (47.98 MW) is deployed to Palawan while the rest are installed in Masbate (29.61 MW), Oriental Mindoro (15.56 MW) and Sultan Kudarat (3.69 MW).DPC has long-term power supply agreements with Masbate Electric Cooperative (MASELCO), Oriental Mindoro Electric Cooperative (ORMECO), Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO) and Sultan Kudarat Electric Cooperative (SUKELCO).
