DMF Youth is a 501c3 non-profit that provides FREE afterschool and summer programming to underserved youth in Title 1 Schools and homeless shelters. Our unique programs blend motivational dance education with a life skill development curriculum, helping at-risk youth build self-esteem, confidence, academic tenacity and grit. Our mission is to create safe, nurturing learning environments that focus on developing the whole child—physical, mental, emotional—and equip students with the essential life skills they need to break the cycle of poverty. DMF Youth Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and life skill development directly into the curriculum, giving at-risk students the tools they need to thrive in and out of the classroom.
