DNV-Micron is producer of industrial mineral fillers and pigments derived from calcium carbonate. The company operates a state of the art processing facility for grounded calcium carbonate and manages a quarry (Cukara) in the vicinity of Raska - South-Western Serbia. The company's major markets are paint/coatings/adhesives and plastic industries as well as construction, agriculture, food and pharma. With a strategic geographic location, the company's target export markets are South Western-Eastern Europe and Russia along with satisfying domestic demand.The company was founded in 2006 and has been in operation from late 2010. The quarry, Cukara, is under a 25 yr licence for exploitation granted by the Republic of Serbia, with reserves of 6 million m³ of marble grade calcium carbonate - with extreme degrees of whiteness.
