Now more than ever before, we need doctors as public stewards— to take their place in Congress.Why Doctors?Doctors are trained to listen to patients; they deftly interpret uncertain data; they understand with each life-and-death decision what is at stake; and they help us manage suffering as much as they cure. Doctors are the one of the most trusted professions in America, and are uniquely positioned to advocate the needs of every American.Our PromiseWe, as doctors, believe health insurance should provide everyone with the security of coverage and the freedom to choose your doctor. Health care should prioritize patients and remove the barriers that prevent doctors from practicing medicine. We will run for Congress and change the laws that prevent you from getting the care you rightfully deserve. We will make the laws that allow you to see your doctor, afford your medications, protect your dignity and put you, the patient, first.
