DOCTOURZ Matching Algorithm (DMA) is the first system in the medical industry to use a scientific approach to matching patients with physicians. Based on proven behavioral science techniques for assessing what a person values in a physician, the DMA provides patients with real-time physician matches based on what we know to be successful in patient-physician relationships. Traditional physician search algorithms rely solely on demographic characteristics, such as geographic location, age, and education, among other factors.
