Dollars 4 Tic Scholars a.k.a. The Kelsey B. Diamantis TS Scholarship Family Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to awarding college scholarships to students with Tourette Syndrome. Our mission is to encourage students to go to college and stay in college regardless of their disability and the challenges they face. Our secondary mission is to sponsor summer camp attendance fees for two children ages 7 to 17 every year to Tourette Syndrome summer camp.Dollars 4 Tic Scholars was created to fill a gap...the lack of college scholarships that financially encourage students who have Tourette Syndrome. Co-founder Kelsey Diamantis, who has Tourette Syndrome, could not find college scholarships when she attended college in 2010.Chronic motor and vocal tics make it a challenge for students with Tourette to learn, absorb and focus, not to mention potential social challenges and extra expenses associated with paying for college. We raise money for scholarships through private donations, foundation grants, corporate grants and special events. We are a small all-volunteer organization which has awarded 19 scholarships and 8 camp sponsorships to date since 2015. We strive for growth to help as many students as we can.
