Dolomiti Stars is the tourism consortium that manages and coordinates relations between the different areas, valley associations and institutions. Since 2000 the aim of the Dolomiti Stars is to enhance tourism and promote the territory in synergy with other entities like the Dolomiti Consortium, the Province of Belluno and the Veneto Region. Therefore, since 2003 the Business-Marketing Office with operating headquarters in Alleghe (BL), has been working to promote and market tourism.Dolomiti Stars encompasses the ski areas of Ski Civetta (Alleghe, Val di Zoldo and Selva di Cadore), San Pellegrino and Arabba - Marmolada. Members belong to the Consortium of Cable Lift Operations for Arabba-Marmolada, Ski Civetta, the Falcade-Col Margherita Lift company and the 4 tourism promotion organizations of the respective areas: Consorzio Operatori Turistici Alleghe-Caprile, Consorzio Operatori Turistici Marmolada, Val di Zoldo Turismo and Pro Loco Val Fiorentina. Dolomiti Stars offers close to 35,000 sleeping accommodation in hospitality structures of varying categories. Efficient, programmed snow making systems guarantee that lifts are open from December to April, covering 250 km of slopes which are part of the largest skiing carousel in the world: the Dolomiti Superski.
