Montrose was founded in 1701, when the "Three Lizards" coat of arms was granted to our ancestor. The 100 ha (250 acre) vineyard is located in the Languedoc region of Southern France, by the Mediterranean Sea. The savoir-faire we have gained through generations and continuous dedication allow us to create unique handcrafted wines. Montrose cuvées are fresh and elegant. We focus on balance over exuberance. Our wines aren't made for wine competitions but for sharing.Domaine Montrose is a pionneer of rosé winemaking in the Languedoc.
